This one is pretty self explanatory, NO hockey is the definition of UNAWESOME!!

Being in Canada during the winter is a tough thing already and for most Canadians hockey is what gets them through those moments of agony

BUT....

With hockey that was all easy, a piece of cake if you will. Which brings me to my next points

When will this lockout be over?

What are alternatives to no NHL?

First, we will look at when the lockout will be over, or a prediction of when. The NHL lockout is now on day 11 and all signs point to BAD.

It's unfortunate that fans can say they are used to this feeling with two previous lockouts that lasted half-a-season and a full season. With two very stubborn businessmen in Gary Bettman and Donald Fehr in charge of the NHL and NHLPA respectively, things certainly don't look good.

With both sides extremely far apart and training camp already cancelled, it is safe to say there may be no end in sight.


On a POSITIVE note...

There is still lots of hockey to watch including the AHL, which will see many star players from the NHL. So, keep positive folks, and I leave you with an opinion...

"Gary Bettman is the George Bush of the NHL" and extremely UnAWESOME.
